Demand for golf cars has evolved and is now more about transportation than golf. Since the state of Illinois made it possible, more and more towns and villages are passing ordinances to allow golf type vehicles on the streets. Illinois residents are enjoying the luxury of purchasing and driving "tricked out" golf cars around their towns, villages, and campgrounds as an alternative to their fuel-consuming full sized automobiles.
